My dear Local Committee,

I waited so much for this moment to come and at the same time I was really afraid of it, and here we are. Now we need to decide what will be the future of ENGEC-GUAP.

For the last two and a half years, E&G became a very special place for me. I was so lucky to get a chance to lead every one of you and carry this legacy. Sometimes it is difficult, and challenging, and even hurts. But if I could, I would make this experience last forever. And I really envy my dear successor, because she will be able to spend one more year here, with vivid, cheerful and lovely dragons.

My beloved EB, I believe that each of you deserves to become LCP for AIESEC in ENGEC-GUAP. I know how much you care about everything that's going on, how far you are ready to go for your people and how high you can raise our LC. It's only up to you to decide whether you want to continue your journey. But I can assure you that you are enough (smart enough, ambitious enough, hot enough, just ENOUGH!), and I know that the great future awaits ENGEC with you.

My beautiful Full Members, this decision will be both the hardest and the most important of all decisions that you will make in organization. Take your time to learn as much as you can about the candidates, read their applications at least three times, talk to the people they led. E&G legacy is in your hands, so be responsible to carry it wisely. Listen to your heart and choose the best not for yourself, but for the Local Committee.

LEAD


  • Team Aligment on Vision & Strategy
  • Representing Team Values & Identity
  • Providing Team Spaces & delivering Team Days Agenda

A video of the candidate about themselves, their motivation and the vision they offer for the Local Committee in the term 26.27.

  • Strategic interview - 11.08 to 20.08
Strategic interview takes approximately 1 - 1,5 hours and is held by LCP with invited MC member/alumni.

  • Motivational interview - 11.08 to 20.08
Motivational interview takes approximately 1 - 1,5 hours and is held by LCP with invited E&G alumni.

  • LCP elections - 23.08
Elections include strategic speeches, panel discussion, Q&A session and motivational speeches of the candidates.

Application package
  • Note of intent
    Note of Intent is in the format of the candidate's video about themselves, their motivation to apply and vision they want to offer for the Local Committee in term 26.27.
    The video must be in English and last no longer than 3 minutes.

  • Questionary
    Questionary must be in English in the format of designed presentation uploaded in PDF. ALL questions from ALL blocks are expected to be answered. Questions can be found below.
    Deadline: 10.08 23:59 gmt+3
  • Endorsement letters
    The candidate needs to provide four endorsement letters:
    - from someone who led the candidate
    - from the candidate's teammate
    - from someone the candidate led
    - from the candidate's parent
    The letters must be written purposefully for LCP elections process. Current LCP cannot write any of those letters. Candidates cannot write the letters to each other, and one person cannot write the letter to more then one candidate.

  • Blank Paper Challenge
    The candidate needs to present their LCP vision for the term 26.27 and explain, what meaning they put into it relying on the following questions:
    1. What is the vision for you?
    2. What do you offer to the LC with your vision?
    Blank Paper Challenge must take one A4 page, be designed and uploaded in PDF format separetly.

  • CV
    The candidate needs to provide relevant CV presenting their skills and experience inside and outside of AIESEC.
    Deadline: 10.08 23:59 gmt+3
  • LCP strategy
    The candidate needs to present their strategy for the term 26.27 in the format of tool in Google Sheets. The tool must include following parts:
    • LC strategy (ambition, focuses, MoSes and tactics);
    • LC budget for the whole year (approximately);
    • LC structure for both peaks (best, realistic and worst variants)
    Mind that the strategy is the only part of the application that can be changed after submission throughout the whole process of elections.
    Deadline: 10.08 23:59 gmt+3
Each file has to be named as following: Name_Surname_part of application package. The application must be written in English. You can use any design you wish.

The whole application has to be uploaded to one folder named as Name_Last name. The candidate needs to send link to LCP adsulimova@aiesec.net before 10.08 23:59. Applications after the DDL (also due to the technical issues) will not be accepted.

Don't forget to send Note of Intent before 05.08 23:59. You will need to send it to LCP mail adsulimova@aiesec.net. The video will be shared in E&G iCOMM channel.
Without Note of Intent application won't be accepted.

  5. What are the roles of LCP and EB 25.26 for the local committee? What will be the roles of LCP and EB 26.27?
  6. What is the culture of the local committee now? What are strengths and weaknesses of such culture? Which one do you want to drive during your term?
  7. What are the main challenges in network management we currently face in the LC? What solutions can you suggest?
  8. Which milestones (since 1989) were crucial for strategical development of AIESEC in Russia and Engec-Guap?

  1. What kind of leader are you now and what kind of leader you want to become?
  2. What’s the biggest question that will drive you during the whole term?
  3. Present the profile of EB member. What are 3 main characteristics important for you? Which 3 qualities will lead to the decision not to take the candidate to EB team?
  4. Name 3 principles that you follow during the work with a team.
  5. What is your ideal EB team? Which values and behaviors will you shape in it? Which atmosphere will you create?
  6. What skills and knowledge should every leader have to lead the organization? Evaluate yourself for each competence from 1 to 10.
  7. What skills and knowledge must LCP for AIESEC in ENGEC-GUAP have? Evaluate yourself.
  8. Do you think you are enough for the position of LCP? Why?

  1. What were the key achievements and learnings of the last 3 EB terms (including the current one)? How will you build upon them in your term?
  2. How are you going to work with P-Teams? Suggest formats of meetings.
  3. How will you work on your LCP brand at LC, NA, city and international level?
  4. How will you work on LC ENGEC-GUAP brand at NA, city and international level?
  5. What is one main problem you want to deal with during next term?
  6. How will you work on scaling exchange operations in term 26.27?

  • Talk
    Talk to as many people you can to get FULL picture of LC and AIESEC in Russia. If you don't understand something, feel free to approach LCPs, EB teams, TLs, members, alumni, EPs and IR partners.
  • Collaborate
    Chat with full members of the local committee, find out how they see the future of E&G. Don't hesitate to ask for feedback from different people with different expertise.
  • Learn
    Even if you think that you remember everything, check basic information: AIESEC way, Compendium E&G and AiR, BlueBook, previous LCPs strategies, MC strategy, et.c. Learn about departments you've never been to.
  • Feel
    LCP elections are one in a lifetime experience, so feel every second of it. Don't be afraid to open your true self for the Local Committee. Be creative and free in your thoughts and actions.
